The Steel Pipe Drink Trolley by Cappellini, designed by Shiro Kuramata in 1968, remains a contemporary masterpiece, showcasing a perfect balance between form and function. Drawing inspiration from Kuramata’s signature Sofa With Arms, this iconic drink trolley combines simplicity and elegance with a refined aesthetic.
The trolley’s frame is crafted from iron tubes, finished in black matte epoxy powder, giving it a sleek, industrial look. The white laminate shelves provide a striking contrast, while the matte black casters and grey plastic wheels ensure smooth mobility on delicate surfaces. This design reflects Kuramata’s innovative approach to everyday objects, making it a standout piece in modern interiors.
