VLA26T Chair

Descrizione

The VLA26T Vega Chair, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1950s, is now available through Carl Hansen & Søn, bringing a modernist icon from the historic concert halls of Copenhagen’s Vega music venue into contemporary homes and spaces. This reissued chair is a perfect embodiment of Lauritzen’s functionalist aesthetic, blending simplicity with character and refinement.

The VLA26T Chair features a well-proportioned design that prioritizes comfort, with a gently curved backrest that offers support and embraces the sitter. Crafted from a combination of wood and steel, this chair is both durable and elegant, making it suitable for a wide range of interior styles. Optional upholstered seat and backrest options further enhance the comfort, while the wooden feet lend a touch of artisanal craftsmanship to the overall design.
